after the foam is fitted insert the jack at 45 degrees (vertical twist) to its final posistion -then lower and twist back to final posistion

removal is the reverse procedure

Does the polystyrene just lift out for modification or do I need to remove trim?

no trim removal req

but removal of the polystrene is fiddly and a bit of an act of faith


pull towards yourself from the top and then kinda wriggle out at 45 degreesish
feels as though you may break it though ! - i've done 3 times now without breaking it so you should be ok
