The parking aid is the wrong setting to change. You need to write to GAP and ask them to activate the untested settings for you. What model is your vehicle? SE or S ? I’m wondering what the IBOC setting refers to as I’m my car is set as not fitted
And they just did. So at the untested area I activated a few cameras. Still no Extra button or so. Only reverse camera. I also activated the venture camera and did receive extra camera button at 4x4 menu.
So does that means the I probably didn’t connect the camera module write? Or even if you’re not connecting the module, do you get an Extra touch button visible?

It seems it’s not connected correctly. I also have the cameras in the 4x4 screen. But no camera button on the home screen yet. Even without the module connected you should have the camera button if the settings are correct

Started testing surround camera stuff to go in a mates car..
I already have surround cameras in mine , so wired in a new module and used my exsisting ccf to make sure in principle it will work ...which it did
Just need to set up his ccf for surround cameras then give them a quick test before the hard work of routing all the wires
Made up the connector which goes in back of screen and down to the camera module ...all working great
Car in bits (again )
taking power and can bus signal from diagnostic port for testing
surround camera module
just one camera fitted
reversing lines gererated by the module
Wigges, can you please provide me the testing scheme? I would like to test it through the diagnostic port. I also don’t have the original plug that goes into the module.

You’ve lost me with the camera icon on the home screen. The icon comes up next to the 4x4 icon. Then if you want it as a shortcut on the home screen, you need to go into settings and set it as a home screen short cut. It doesn’t automatically place a shortcut there, you need to select it.012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)

On the 2010/2011 screen the camera button only appears on the home screen. The 2012 on screen is different.

Ok, sorry didn’t realise the earlier model wasn’t selectable. I think the issue you have now is that the system thinks you have a venture camera fitted which you don’t. You need to de-select the Venture cam CCF edit and find the missing file. I’ve updated my IID tool since my retro fit and I think the file has now gone. I’m pretty sure there was another file for IPMB (Image Processing Module B) but I could be wrong as it’s been a few years. If I can get on to it tomorrow I’ll re-survey my file and compare it to my original. In the mean time I screen shot these details.
This photo shows (on a 2012) how the shortcut appears on the home screen with the module off line. This greyed out icon is how I would expect to see the option activated without module fitted.

I believe you’re right. So it could be a software issue. It should appears but greyed out.

My CCF looks the same as what you have posted, apart from the venture cam. I’ll deactivate in the morning and let you know. I’ll also chat to a mate who has a 2010 model with the cameras and see if he has the venture camera buttons or not.

According to the BBS website that field should be in the pre 2010 CCF but it isn’t. Pat is looking at it for me
