Well fitted mine this morning in under a hour very easy MOD to do so get on it Thumbs Up Its very easy to access the wire with out taking the door card off. the passenger one took the longest, bit fiddly. thanks to all that make this forum so good. Merry xmas Very Happy

2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Manual Cairns BlueDiscovery 3

Ok, I've got the passenger footwell light in place ( there's already a cut-out for it in the panel ) but I cannot find the wiring. For sure there's plenty of looms and cables back there but what am I specifically looking for????
There doesn't appear to be a connector of any sort. What colour are the wires I need????
I've been on this 5 minute job all morning and cannot see anything I can possibly plug upto. Rolling Eyes
If the puddle lights are anything like the footwell lights, I'll probably not bother. Embarassed

Mine was behind the footwell side panel tucked towards the door, it should have grey foam over it. Joined the BMWX5 45e group

WooooooHoooo.................I have puddle lights and footwell lights. Mr. Green
Oh yes, puddle light wires were purple + black all round but I just needed to look for the grey sponge as the plug end was taped inside it on every light. Rolling Eyes
I'm frozen to the bone too but hey it was worth the effort.
I final fitted my FBH controller this morning too so pretty well pleased with todays efforts. Laughing
