United Kingdom 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Zambezi SilverDiscovery 3

sorted... needed to set picture size to get it to allow space for the video.

if you watch the roadlines you can clearly see they are moving as if car is turning, however the vehicle is stationary. (in a carpark)

and on other file vehicle is moving, but sat nav thinks its in middle of lake then jumps onto road. then immediatley starts to think its going offroad again lol.

i think you will find that is illegal and would be against the site rules... illegal coppies are usually the sort of thing you find on ebay.

Anyone know what the new code is for sat nav on the move for the latest map DVD? Rolling Eyes Tried every code that I know and some more, and still no function on the move. It won't even work putting the old disc back in now as it's updated the nav unit software.

Ireland 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Zambezi SilverDiscovery 3

I just got the new DVD at last, and I'm delighted and disappointed with it. Wink

LR must have got Navteqs Q4 2005 data or similar as it doesn't have 100% Irish coverage. I think it's the Q1 2006 release that has the full data, so have to wait another year to get all of Ireland!

Delighted in that it has approx half of Ireland with 100% coverage. Seems to be mostly the East half that has all the country lanes/etc covered. Has every single townland too, so as I'm driving down a back road it says the townland at the bottom of the screen and can navigate to townlands. So my house is finally on the map.

Disappointed in that several major road projects finished over a year ago are still not in it. Most importantly the south section of the M50 around Dublin (a major change as before traffic going north may have gone through the city center rather than around the ring road), opened in July 05. And the other major one is the M1 Dundalk bypass section, think this was opened in October 05.

I see the Cashel bypass is now on it, and improvements to the N25 junctions near Wexford.

Detail in towns in the half of the country with 100% coverage is far better than before.

As regards to the interface... Something has changed in the way the screen moves and the icon representing the vehicle moves as you drive along. The movement seems smoother, and I think it seems a good bit better. Assume the software update is responsible for this.

DVD backup

Assuming I want to just back up my exisitng Navigation DVD, to keep the original at home and the copy running in the car, anyone tried this and come across any encryption challenges?

Can't see why you'd want to though, surely the disk has a warranty the same as any other part, if it goes wrong just take it back to your dealer

I'm just about to replace my disk with the new 500200. Will I loose my saved places? I really don't fancy having to enter them all again! Crying or Very sad
