My mechanic removed mone (2006 manual) without removing the box, so it IS possible, but is a seriously fiddly job. He must have extreme patience and very long fingers... Bow down Mr. Green

If its an auto, I would be looking at taking the body off. Mush easier than arsing around with the auto box, which weighs in at 125kg... And would need drained and refilled

Its not that big a job to lift the body, can have it off in around 3-4 hours...

What Censored Censored of a Censored Censored design engineer though that would be a good idea? Makes me long for the days of my A series engine - though not admittedly the Marina it came attached to. Laughing
