Power to Electric Seat Conversion

Hello,
I'm installing my Electric Seats today to a non electric D3.

What terminal on the drivers seat do I contact 12v in order to give it power. I understand I have to bypass the relay, but I cannot see a relay. There is only a relay on the passenger seat.

Thanks,
Peter

Thanks for the reply. You seem have undertaken quite a conversion! Good Job.

But I'm still confused as to how this will help me get my drivers seat working.

I'm not sure what pin to connected 12v too on the seat, people have mentioned bypassing the relay, but I don't see any relay.

I don't have a pic currently, but will try and upload one later.

Also, I plugged the seats in today and as the car has had an accident the seat belts pretentioners have activated. This means my airbag won't go out. I'm going to have to replace the seat belts as well! Ah well It should be worth it!

As promised, this is all the wires I have at my Drivers Seat Base, bar the main multi-plug.

The green and grey one have been removed from the Memory Module. I think the grey one is the correct connector, but I'm not 100% Thumbs Up

Hi!

I have noticed alot of ppl asking for this, me included. Would be really nice if someone who have done this, could make a how to. As I see it, the important information is wich plug and wich wire do we need to get a 12v power to? And how to avoid the 1-5 second bursts.

Smile
