Hi, my BT connects on 2121 and connects every time I get in the car. The issue is after a minute or so of any call it starts to drop in and out so you miss half the conversation will swapping this make a difference?

... flipper on the left side of the steering wheel? |
|
Do you have the flipper on the left side of the steering wheel? If so, then you probably have the voice tuning feature re the radio. If so, this means you have a microphone installed.
As such, my belief is that with Wiggs D4 kit and some effort, you could have Bluetooth for phone use but not music streaming; Wiggs would know for certain but you might have to give him your vehicle serial number.
In brief, you could install the two phone flippers on the right side of the steering wheel but to my mind, not totally necessary as you could answer and hang up directly from your phone.
Then install the Wiggs supplied MOST cable as required and connect to the Wiggs supplied D4 module.
After that, you would connect 12 VDC power to the module. I tapped power from the 10 amp F58P circuit using one of those Littelfuse Tap a Fuse devices - no wire cutting or clipping onto - safe, neat and fast.
You will also have to modify your Car Configuration File (CCF) to tell your 3 you now have Bluetooth. The current file is probably silent on the matter. To do that, you either need something like a Faultmate or have someone do it for you who has the ability to modify CCF files.
As I said, Wiggs will be able to advise you better than I.
If you do not already have an installed mike, then the task gets harder so to me, the existence of the mike is the key to easy or not. 2005 LR3 HSE 4.4L AJ-V8 petrol; Traxide Dual Battery; PIAA 2500K Yellow Ion H11 Fog Light bulbs; CounterAct LT-2 Capacitive Corrosion control; LLumar AIR80 Blue clear Infra Red blocking side window film; Liftgate manual release; Schrader Valve "air in" mod to OEM air suspension reservoir tank; Akebono ceramic pads; OEM solid vented discs; LR4 design hitch receiver; Wiggs D4 MOST bluetooth module; Clock on the Dash; 3 Flash signal light mod; Backup Camera; 2015/16 Nav Data update.

Hi Wiggs. I hope you can help me as this is driving me mad. I have just purchased a 2005 disco 3 HSE. I thought it had Bluetooth but cannot get it to pair with my Samsung phone. Even my phone search cannot find the landrover. I saw a previous thread you have done re the voice settings with pictures. Mine does not show the Audible Feedback icon. Does this mean I havn't got Bluetooth or is it faulty? That leads to Can it be repaired or can I get the Bluetooth added so it will work with the buttons on the steering wheel.
Thanks. Alice.

Hi Alice
First off ... Have you got red / green phone buttons on the right of the steering wheel ?
Does your voice command button on the left of the steering wheel respond when you pull it and ask something ? G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Hi Wiggs.
Yes I do have the phone buttons.
When I pull the green answer button a message on the dash says no phone fitted.
When I pull the voice command button on the steering wheel a written message comes on the dash saying listening. After about 3 or four seconds a voice says no speech detected. As I said before I cannot pair any phones to the car as none can find the landrover icon when I scan for it.

Could be a number of things then ..
You would need to start pulling panels off to see if there is a Bluetooth module in place .
Don't suppose there is a phone dock under the centre consul lid is there ? G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Hi I was directed to your site by Landyzone as my RR L322 Bluetooth system connects but when I make a call as soon as I get an answer it drops the call.
I notice you do an exchange, would this fix my problem ? if so can I have one please.
