Don't suppose you know about an audio software update that mine needs apparently, had it tested at an electrical auto place and they couldn't find anything wrong with the radio but said it needed the update.

Hi sorry for the delay in replying....
We've been having the radio and sat nav shutting down intermittently problem. The auto electrical place tested the radio in situ and have given us details using Dec superscan 3 software. Trouble code u0184 lost communication with audio unit, bus signal message failure- missing a message.
We have 4 sheets of print out , they said the only thing that seemed to be needed was a software update that they can't do,
If you can advise best next course of action or suggest someone who might know that would be great. Have wondered about the guy in Bath at Maple audio? where you send radio off to them.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Wiggs...New here - seen your posts on Bluetooth retrofit to and I'm interested in doing it to a a 05 plate UK Disco 3 HSE...
Have voice control, so think I need:
Steering controls
Module - preferably a D4 one
MOST cable
Power
Is this right?
Also can you recommend how to get a D4 module?
Cheers,
BC

Another happy customer, thanks Wiggs!
Order placed and replacement box arrived 3 days later.
Simple job, 10 minutes with the correct tools, a flat head screw driver to pry a bolt cover (the one above the seat belt bottom fixing), a cross head for the bolt and a ratchet to take the seat belt base off. I didn't have to remove any other screws.
I just pulled the trim panel off at the front edge so i could access the unit, used a torx screw driver to undo the one bolt, undid the 2 fixings as directed. then reversed the procedure to fit the the replacement!
Old unit on its way back to Wiggs (sorry forgot to put my name inside the envelope, but its on the back of it)!
Very easy, and all up and running.
Thanks again,
Ru
