Dear wiggs,
Have taken the liberty of transferring the amount for the Bluetooth module through your website with Paypal.
Since I live in Denmark, please just let me know about postage.
Thanks for your help!!

I sent you a mail about this.
Actually, would the D4 module be of any benefit, compared to the updated D3 module?
And is the price different?
Thanks

Wow! Mr Wiggs
Received D4 unit today just fitted took less than 5 mins and it works wow! again. It has made such a difference I can make calls without dropping them upon an answer I have phone book on touch screen and can scroll contacts and dial them from my steering wheel I just need to figure out now if I can voice dial. If I try now it says no contacts stored even though I have list on screen. I will get my handbook out now and see if I can get that bit working too. So after 3 months trying loads of phones for Bluetooth I found a few that worked but no contacts and I couldn't part with my iPhone and use any of these other phones. Now Wiggs is my superhero I can not thank you enough you are offering a superb service and I would recommend you to anyone so again THANKS Martin.......

Glad your happy .
If you go into settings on your screen and then voice settings ...you can store names there ....or hold the voice button and say "phone store name "...she will ask you for the name / number .
Dont forget its a new module so there is nothing stored in it . The list is just whats in your phone ...you need to manualy store any names / numbers you want to dial via voice . G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

not sure whether I have this already |

I have a D3 and the directory (including home, office, mobile) comes up on the display. I can use the manual controls to dial the phonebook entries but not the touchscreen.
If I get the D4 kit, will that give me the touchscreen capability or does that need some kind of unlocking?

Finally i have found the right topic! I was too much focused on the D4 section and didn't check the D3.
I have a MY11 D4 HSE shipped without BT option. Reading this long topic, i've realized i can retro-fit the original PTI kit on my car. And i should need the following:
-genuine BT module (that is originally placed behind the right panel of the rear boot)
-some MOST wire
-wiring power supply (2 wires) to the BT module
-update the CCF (throuh a local dealer or using the faultmate device). Not really sure this step is strictly needed
-Wiggs is the top expert on this.
Am i right? Can i proceed?
Wiggs i have sent you a PM
Many thanks

The D4 has exactly the same CCF block of data as the D3 does, which we refer to as the T5 CCF. To my knowledge, only a Faultmate MSV-2 system can fully decode this and allow unlimited edit ability of it.
It's functionality is identical between D3 and D4
The D4 does however also have an EUCD CCF block which adds all the additional configuration such as Flappy paddles, surround camera system etc
Physically adding a Phone module is easy, especially since i detailed how to get your hands on the MOST bits but its still going to need the CCF editing to get the vehicle to work with it.

Thank you everybody for your replies

Do you mean a local LR dealer can't enable the BT function editing the CCF? Travelling to UK just for doing that would be nice, but simply impossible

What does it mean? Are you maybe saying the EUCD CCF block makes possible enabling the BT function?
