Well, finally finished mines today.
Not originally how I wanted to do it, would rather it protruded more but didn't fancy cutting the grille insert anymore.
Haven't bonded it in yet, not quite sure how to but I fashion a couple of pads out of an old sanding block thingy and stuck them on the lower clip panel and it holds the grille insert tight.
Just need to order a badge now.
Thanks to all the guys who have posted photos and ideas how to fit, cheers

Before you do, just check that it's horizontal.
Looking at it, it sits higher on the right than the left.
Not being critical, just words of advice, as there's nothing worse than completeing the job only to find out then.

Hi
Have been trying to get a grille insert from Slimer but he hasn't been on site to answer pm I sent him. Does anyone have an email address for him so I can get things moving. Can't wait to try this mod out.

Started my my mod today cut out sections in grille which went without too much bother, got to wait til my d4 section arrives from flea bay before i can finish it. I did notice though that the two lugs either side at the bottom of grille might be hard to get too when insert is fitted. Is this the case or am I worrying about nothing ?

No, you can get to them just fine, I'll take a couple of close up photos tomorrow and stick them in my gallery.
What type of insert did you get, I never saw the D4 ones on eBay? 2016 RR Sport Autobiography

Your welcome mate but I'm just following the guys on here.
The things you can do is just about never ending if you have the cash.
I don't have any patience either buy you'll need some cutting the grilles.
Good luck 2016 RR Sport Autobiography

Hi
There are two ways to do it.
One involves cutting slots for the four bottom vaines and having it set back a little
The other involves cutting the ends off the new grill and sanding until fits
Either way it's a fun mod and looks effective

Decided to go for the second method, will hopefully get it done this weekend. Does anyone have a link for source of black and silver grille badge to fit, don't seem very easy to find as they are larger than I thought.

Try Pete Bell at BAS, he had some larger badges made, not sure if he has any left but worth a go!
Failing that, get your own made, could be quite expensive tho,LR don't do them bigger in Black i don't think
Darrell
ps. Good luck with the grill,i'm still not ready to do mine,i want a slightly different look but these mods all look 8)
