But, I didn't think dealers could enable CC, I thought this was an autologic enabled function. ie TFC being your man if you are in Manchester "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

The member who posted the thread has removed the photos from his gallery...I've adjusted the title so as not to mislead others 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Keep the hook this way round once it's in the slot, and eventually you'll find the catch on the back of the airbag - latch onto it and pull the hook back out the slot, which should release the clip. It needs to be pulled quite hard to release the clip.Previously:

It might be obvious but it's worth mentioning that Wiggs's excellent pictures show 1. the steering wheel with the airbag removed and the next one 2. is the airbag turned over showing its underside.
Once the hook is thru' the slot you have to turn it 90 degs. to "grab" the little spring clips that need to be pulled out and away from the centre of the steering wheel to release the bag. You need to give it quite a tug and you will feel the bag release and come upwards slightly. You have to do the same again on the other side.Something that doesn't drink diesel and doesn't cost a bloody fortune everytime it needs serviced / fixed. thanks all, will have a go again. just to clarify, while on the driver seat, I will insert the tool with the hook facing me, then once i hit the end i then turn it 90 degress, which will make the hook face away from me, then grab the little springs. let me know if this not right. Also, do I have do unhook on both sides even though I'm only replacing the blank kit with the one with audio controls on it?
