It hasn't been hit from the front or the back but appears to have been clouted from about 45 degrees from the. back. Paint appears unbroken but scuffed over a height of about 12 inches. No visible damage to quarter window, tail gate or light cluster or roof. Dent is about an inch deep and the size of your hand.
Very annoyed, as the vehicle was parked on its own in a quiet sports centre carpark this morning for only 45 minutes.

USA don't want to share it as a sport which is why the world series only includes North American teams I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

The english would be to good thats why the USA wont share it
They would join the panel and not replace both sides...
Insurance companys would usually re-shell if the truck was worth doing...All the recent salvage going through is on a CAT X unrecorded because the insurance companys can make more money instead of rating them as a CAT C/D which halfs the value

Wow, that's a lot, no wonder they got voted the best bodyshop. They must be employing cosmetic surgeons.

thanks Matt_tdv6 that is quite difference.........like several magnitudes.......
Yes their hourly rate is unacceptable to the insurance company........however having experienced the acceptable bodyshop (both LR approved) I am prepared to pay out of my own pocket.............
I am expecting great things........only problem is that rest of the car will look very tatty compared!!! It seems to be a fair bit of work with the dismantling and reshaping, a few hours of surgeon labour there.end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

I thought you could insist on where you car gets fixed now. I don't blame you on the approved insurance side, they are approved on prices not quality of repair. Of the 2 repairs I have had done by approved garages, the first had to be done 3 times (and they still only put one bolt in the tailgate) and the second was done 4 times after they forgot to bolt the new wing to the car, they broke the indicator and worse the sill trim flew off on the motorway on the way back from the garage.
