I've probably missed something, but how come you're modifying the inside of the D3 lights at the same time as adding D4 wings? Won't there be a big gap between the light and the wing?2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

Im keeping D3 headlights and my accessory bumper but i am fitting D4 Wings
People say there will be a gap but nobody has tested it yet
You will see pictures tomorrow when i go back to the bodyshop and trial fit everything prior to paint

Nobody has tested it, but I'm sure a few people measured them to compare...(with a view to making the D4 lights fit the D3 wings though - not the other way around as you've done)
I can't wait to see the photos
So what is the advantage of the D4 wings? Is it just to get the new style air inlets?2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

Yes thats all i wanted them for
If the D4 wing doesnt match up theres always ways and means
Its at the bodyshop anyway so anything can be done

Hey Matt,
Did you also removed the orange side reflectors?

Having carried out his mod to my own car and left the reflectors in. It looks like Matt has removed all the orange and not put the reflectors back. All down to personal taste i suppose.
