Yep.....just dremmel the hole out. If you do the hole too small then you'll notice that the H panel doesn't fit properly...just look where the clip is marking the plastic and cut it away a bit more.
Don't be scared....if you cut away too much, then it'll get hidden anyway behind the new panel.
Cutting the clip is a possibility as there is quite a few mm spare, but as McLeod says, if you cut it too much, then you'll screw it up.
Just cut the H-panel and don't worry about it. It literally took me 4 or 5 minutes to do both sides 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

Will I took the plunge and ordered the Piano Black Trim Pieces from Nick (Great Guy) today, I listened to all the advice of the guys who helped me make a decision plus my teenage daughter who said “ Daddy the Black Trim is HOT and the wood is old school†……………………….So gents I eagerly await its arrival from Good Old England will post pictures when installed, I just want to thank you guys for making me feel so welcome and answering all my questions

Great thread lads, thinking of doing this myself with the piano black trim, just out of curiosity what was the final prices for all the bits etc???
And an update on the wood trim.
Should have stock of the missing qoutter vent trim by late next week TLO has left the building.......
