Has anyone priced the swap of the gray heating and radio pieces to the new black ones? I really like the look of the 08 dash with piano black, just not sure about the gray section in the middle.

my opinion is piano black is the kind of colour that wont age. but its all down to personal taste .

i didnt get wood as i class it as an old mans choice (no insults intended)and it does look more stuck on as the blacks more supple and affect ,but brings it right up to date. Thumbs Up

just my opinion Mr. Green

I cant wait for Nicks Pm to me for my walnut wood trim, I love my D3 but the sea of grey and black is too dull for my licking in my (at present) standard interior.

So hopefully having the wood will lift it and make it a bit more subtle, for some reason I just dont like the Piano black effect....but thats my personal taste....

Cheers

Bornidle Thumbs Up , Mine just did'nt sit right around the SatNav, then drilled the two holes and it looks 8) , I agree....If you have Black Leather, then its Piano Black Trim, totally transforms the interior with the silver inserts. I also added the Polished Alloy trim around the Transmission Lever, now that finishes the interior. Thumbs Up

Very Very Nice................Is the wood grain visible in the black trim, from the pictures it looks a bit like plastic

i think your picking up a reflection on the trim
there is no wood grain in the Piano Black..as it's name.imagine a high gloss black piano finish...super high gloss
