Have received my module from eBay today, so that makes 21 days from door to door.
What I got was exactly what was shown in the advert, the wires are short but the connections are via screw terminal so no soldering required.
What I will say is that the enclosure offers zero ingress protection for water or dirt. I will probably mount it inside the car on the base of the A-pillar or something. It has a 12V put which i think goes high when the FBH is running, so will fit a LED or something.
Will report back when I've tested it.

Considering they are now £300, I’m not sure many more of that version will be ordered
I put mine on the side of the upper glovebox.
I don’t know if you can do that by removing the vent

When I look at the ebay app listing I still it as listed for £60... when I look using a browser it says £290!
He can't honesty expect to sell any at that price, might just be upping the price to avoid having to relist when he gets more stock. A certain British tool seller does this on ebay, very annoying.

My I app says 290
I have seen sellers do this. Thought it was fee avoiding somehow.
He keeps putting it up though but hasn’t sold any expensive ones.
I guess he needs to source more stock

Easy to fit, four wires came with all the needed connectors and after I double checked the Pin 2 connector was in far enough, it works a treat! You can have it set to run for 30 mins or 15 depends where the jumper is set or until the coolant reaches 75c and it switches off.
After seeing the cost of the ebay one go from £60 to £260 I opted for this one at £125 and it's great!

At 390?! Gordon Bennett.
I've had a little play with mine, the +12V output wasn't working when I tested it. On further investigation the wrong contacts were being used on the relay, I wire strapped the correct contacts and it now works. Obviously he dosent test them before shipping.
About 15mA standby current which is as much as the rest of the car when its asleep. 45mA when activated which is what the ebay ad says. When I get my split charge system installed I'll power it from the secondary battery along with the FBH it's self.

If it has a power led on it you could remove it.
That would get rid of the majority of the 15ma.

If you like wiring 3 things together you have a kit,
Hopefully you can see where the wires go.
+12v battery in on the thick red wire
Ground on the thick blue wire in this picture
Green to the heater
Ok, so got the first two bits, £40 for the module, £6 for the fob and relay (thank you for the link) but before I go for the timer could I just ask about "switching off". I think I read somewhere that the heater will switch off when it gets to temperature but you need to switch off with the remote as well or it can get confused? So what's the situation with the timer... is that controlling the supply to the relay, and if so how is that reset and does the fob need to turn the relay off when it does? TIA

The remote module can be set in several ways. (See ebay listing)
Eg. Momentary. This blips an output briefly when A is pressed.
This then goes to the timer module where is sets an output for 15 mins.
This output can then be sent to the Wbus controller sold by “only with PayPal” £42
Pressing A again will stop the timer before 15 mins
The already built kits being sold by RR are configured different to this I believe.
Pressing A starts a signal
Pressing B stops the signal.
This then goes to the WBUS controller sold by RR
If you have a push button controller sold by RR I would not recommend a timer

Try this. To set up the remote to work with a RR controller
Learning the Code: (Toggle)
Press the learning key on the receiver PCB twice, it goes into toggle setting mode.
Wait for a moment, the LED will be off , it comes into learning state.
Press the remote button, LED indicator on the receiver board will flash then go off.
After 3 seconds, the LED indicator will be on again, learning successfully.

Ok, cool, thanks Pete.
I've had a play with the remote, it arrived unprogrammed and funnily enough my first attempt to "learn" it put it in "momentary" with both buttons doing the same. My second attempt got it into button A for on, either button for off. Instructions on ebay are one of those cryptic translations but aren't too hard to work out.
I like the timer idea as it removes the need to remember to switch it off. Can I just ask what happens if you start the car before the 15mins is up? Ta.
Ken
PS Can I also ask what the white plug-in connectors are that fit the timer? Thanks
