Mine was behaving again. Haven't used in since Friday as it's looking like I have a split crossover pipe.

Yeah I get that impression but still if you supply a kit that requires fitting instructions are a must. I dont have an issue fitting it my self I was half way to making my own but let's say I was going to let a mechanic or auto electrition fit it they would want instructions.

You then connect the yellow wire on the box to the FBH wire, the black wire to the earth bolt next to the FBH and a fused live straight to the battery.David

The remote that came with my FBH controller (photostream takes an age!!) It says 433M on the back, anyone got any idea how to get a spare or clone the one I have, it seems a shame to scrap it if the remote stops working in the future.

You should see similar ones.
You will need to program it though
You press that switch on the PCB Twice, then press the remote button

I'd be interested to know if you have any success with cloning the remote, as you say shame to have the thing not work because one remote was damaged/lost etc.

I had two remotes delivered today, cloned them both, it takes 3 seconds each , they both work as they should, I prefer these as they have a cover over the buttons, I did notice the heater had come on the other day as I must pressed the on button by accident whilst in my pocket. No chance of that with this type of remote.
I also found this on Amazon, it looks like it might do the same things as the remote heater system on Ebay although it 220v input, maybe somebody clever on here has an idea.
