No,you can’t listen to the factory radio while using the android system. There are add on solutions like Dab + modules which are excellent.

USB dongle connect to the android side,and yes I have split the dab antenna.
If you read back through the thread it’s discussed in detail.

Quick update on my flickering screen issue.
Nearly a month ago I contacted Yanav store on AliExpress messaging to let them know of the problem. They suggested turning down the back light but I haven't been able to find out how to do that and they don't seem to know.
After many days of faffing about they decided to send me a software update which didn't work (the whole update process doesn't work). After several more days they asked me to try the update process a different way, that still didn't work.
The latest idea from them is that it may be a problem with the motherboard and when i asked for a replacement unit as it is still under warranty they seemed to shy away from this and said I had been using for nearly a year.
Now we seem to have ground to a halt. Nothing at all from them.
So all I can say is beware. The system is great while it works but don't expect any meaningful or useful aftersales service. It justn't appear to be there.
If it can't be resolved I'll likely go back to the original setup as I won't be wasting any more money on this system. 2015 Discovery 4 HSE

So it seems that the only way of contacting support for this item is via an online chat.
Every reply I get is so vague that it requires another question and seems to be limited to 1 reply every 2 or 3 days.
So far they have come up with it could be a motherboard fault and it seems that they may be expecting me to change it. But who knows.
I can only think that they are playing for time and waiting for the warranty to expire then wash their hands of it all.
All in all, it seems like a waste of time. 2015 Discovery 4 HSE

Don’t give up,ask them for their WhatsApp number and get a named technician to review your case.
I have done this in the past,it’s much easier than faffing about with AliExpress messaging.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
This unit is basically the same as advertised and sold by many different sellers on AliExpress. I have not dealt with your chosen supplier.
I have fitted several and I have an almost identical one in my own D4 for two years which I am more than happy with.CarPlay and navigation apps are great,it’s light years ahead of the factory unit.
Many of the features claimed by some sellers are false and if you need after sales help or warranty return you are probably .Setup can be challenging but there’s lots of advice in this thread.

has anyone gone with the optional tyre pressure monitoring add on?
I’m wondering how it interfaces with the unit? I see it connects via usb so does that mean it’s fully integrated? eg if tyre pressure falls below a predefined setting etc will it notify me no matter what’s on the screen at the time ?

@thisandy - As I don't seem to making any progress with Yanav, I noticed that you mentioned in an earlier post that you had a spare screen. I'm wondering if that's worth a try.
Could you let me know how much you want for it please? I'm thinking that if I can plug that in and it cures the problem then at least I can pin it down and maybe get them to replace the broken one.
