Why does any respectable company use couriers like Yodel.
Yes they might be slightly cheaper than the slightly more respected courier companies.
Delivery today to a business address between 5pm and 7pm.
Now surely that should be ringing alarm bells at Yodel, let me think delivery to a business at the end/past normal business hours.
Well managed to get some work done in peace outside normal work hours.
Come 6:45 two stops away. At 7:10 go home and by the time I get home the delivery is back at depot.
Supplying company going to cancel that delivery and send a new consignment out.
So the quid or two saved on first non delivery is well and truly lost on carriage cost etc sending replacement one out, plus lost of a returning customer in the future.

Yes! This is one we wanted to buy before the dead horse one (which is still for sale). We have now exchanged contracts but the solicitor said it was the most ridiculously and unnecessarily complicated purchase he'd dealt with. It got to a point where I was confident I could convince a judge and a jury to give me permission to murder someone before the event rather than have a trial afterwards. I must go and do some deep breathing exercises....
