That’s far too complimentary for him!
He’s one of those who pretends he’s nice (all the other neighbours think he’s ok) but is a sneaky nasty liar. He’s a teacher!)
This is only the stuff I can prove. The wife tried to scare me last year by driving at me as I was about to set off the kerb to cross the road. No witnesses - luckily I’m pretty vigilant!Cheers,
Jez

So, neighbour from hell who I’ve mentioned before has caused major issues with our house with undertaking structural work on the party wall with no party wall notice served (plus another 5 or so legal issues) which mean we cannot sell our house until they are resolved.
Anyway, he’s now decided that it’s perfectly acceptable to put a tumble drier under cover outside right
next to our back door on their side of the fence with it venting through into our garden. If we have our back doors open, (which is all the time this time of year) we can not only hear but smell their laundry in our house & the heat from the vent is scorching a mature evergreen jasmine which covers all of our side of the fence.
On very politely asking him if he was aware that is an issue and would be happy with that if the situation was reversed, couldn’t see why any reasonable person would not be happy with that.
Have I lost the plot in not being happy with this or would any of you chaps feel the same?
Would be great if u could reach the bottom of the tumble dryer , as when it’s on and knowone around spray some WD 40 into the back of it as it will then blow up the motor
Indeed would be such a shame if water was accidentally sprayed down the outlet , 🤣
can u get a sheet of plastic or ply to screw onto ur side of the fence , with a 4” hole cut into it with a flexible tumble dryer extension pipe , an elbow fixed onto the piece of plastic/ ply to then extend the pipe further away from ur doors, then as it gets further away drop the pipe down lower and lower so he can’t see it
If that won’t work maybe a large sheet of ply to cover the entire fence in an attempt to deflect it
Hope that gives u another idea and u get the party wall issues also resolved , plus sound like a tow might be coming up if he blocks ur garage
Don’t know if it’s true but isn’t there some strange law that if there isn’t a vehicle being blocked in the law can’t do anything
So sad when people think it’s ok to be complete and utter by causing unnecessary agro for neighbours

What's wrong with some people?
Spotted on Aunty Beeb a few minutes ago someone attempting to get their driving license took 59 theory tests in about 6 months How the did they mange so many, that's over two each week. In the same news bit it is reported that the "average" was six attempts. No surprise that the system is more bunged up than a cement filled London sewer with so many retakes of the theory test. No mention of the number of attempts at the real test, but I wouldn't be surprised if is also more that one or two.
So many young people I know consider driving to be a "right", and are so, so, so sad that they failed (theory or real), and that is just so unfair. I watched one local who has failed the real test three (or is it four?) trying to get their car off their parent drive - I'm so glad my car was a long way from them, but even them it was "a tad scary".
Solution - sliding scale of increasing charges depending on the number of fails? That might work, but it might just result in more unlicensed drivers around.
Why the flippin' 'eck do some people refer to "the British" in the third party when they hold British passports and whose family could have been in the country for generations. Not "the British", then, but "we". I've heard Trevor Philips (ex head of the Commission for Racial Equality" refer to when "we" beat the French at Agincourt - and he came from Guyana!

I didn't fight at Agincourt - it was "the English" then, mind, rather than "the British" - so I can hardly say "when we won at Agincourt" even though I am both English and British. Just as I say "England won/lost the rugby match" rather than "we won/lost the rugby match" because I wasn't playing.
Indeed, I find it rather annoying when people who weren't playing say "we won the game!". No, you didn't. The team won the game.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
