I've been trying to do my vehicle tax on line, which I have always done since the system was introduced.
I fill in the on-line form correctly, get all the way to the payment, get the message "You will be directed to your card holder's website", and then it just "hangs" and eventually times out!
If the DVLA are going to have this on line system, and I believe they've changed it to something called BETA, then they should at least make sure the system works.
So out I go into the cold wet day to the Post Office, and pay my yearly VED of £710.00.
I’m a Disco 4 believer. What a vehicle!

Moonpig, and similar.
The Fathers day adverts on TV by Moonpig have reminded me of the contempt I have for them and the people who use them.
I’ve never received a ‘Moonpig’ for any occasion, and would never send one.
If the only effort you can be bothered to put in to send me a card on my Birthday or other occasion is to spend less than a minute without leaving the sofa you can **** off, I don’t want your card because I obviously don’t mean that much to you.

We still write cards, letters, postcards and send thank you notes and so do our daughters. We also receive them, which is always nice.

I send Mum a bouquet for her birthday, Mother's Day and Christmas. Dad gets a birthday and Father's Day card (and is included in the flowers at Christmas these days - I bought him a wine selection box (12 bottles) a few years ago and he moaned that it took him too long to drink them. I drink wine at home in his honour instead. Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

Moonpig, and similar, isn’t always the ‘lazy choice’ when they have thought put into them and personalised with a picture or specific memory.
I’ve used them for that purpose but do have them sent to me so I can hand write them before sending to recipient.

I recall in my younger days having three GF’s at the same time. That took a bit of careful organising, but I was always careful with names! 😂
