Sorry for the basic question. I'm wondering if my fuel line is blocked a bit. How do you remove the fuel pipe? I can't see how the clamps on the fuel pioe works. Do you just use pliers?2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +

Technically special pliers to remove but mole grips will do.
The clamp will be ruined after and you'll need jubilee clips to replace

I think it's a single ear crimp, so you just snip off the bit that sticks out. I'm not a huge fan of jubilee clamps for this application, but I am the cautious type with fuel pipes. I usually crimp on a new double ear crimp, but a good sprung clamp would also do.

Robbie, do you have a list of seals and gaskets, and a source for them? Need to strip and clean mine properly - the oxygen only gets it going again for a little while - and I want to get a full set of seals and gaskets before I start.
Thanks,

Robbie, all
Can find the main gasket and o rings on line, but cannot see the very thin paper like gaskets, for when you strip the burner. Is their part numbers for these, or do you only strip this if you really need to?
Only for interest at the moment as mine is working fine at the moment

The gaskets can be purchased but I see no need to pull apart the burner when cleaning / servicing the FBH. If I suspected that the metal cup was knackered I would pull it apart to check as not all of it is visible through the glowplug hole. Otherwise after giving it a clean I just check that the fuel can run freely and that the glowplug resistance is within the correct range.

Robbie, the o-rings are simple to source, but the purpose made gasket referred to in the manual as part E is not available. Did you manage to source one, or does the gasket from a different model fit on the V?
