I have an Altox that was supposed to be fitted to my now sold Discovery 3.
Will it fit on my new Discovery 4 TDV6, MY 2013? Discovery 4, MY2011, TDV6 Auto

Have now looked at my Altox and it is an ALTOX WBUS-4, with a 5 pin adaptor.
How can I use it for my Discovery 4.
I just want to have an easy way to start and stop the heater with a pushbutton. Can see in the box that it is a wire loom included with a small pushbutton.
By the way. The included owners manual is very difficult to understand for me. Will the on off with a button make it not necessary to use a SIM card and control the unit by SMS?
Have the genuine Webasto on off module, but it always loose contact and it is not so fun to reinstall the contact by the fuses.
Would be better to have a wire button. Discovery 4, MY2011, TDV6 Auto

If no-one on here answers - logically, it doesn't need the SIM but I've not used mine without a SIM so can't confirm - drop Altox an email. They were quick and helpful when I had questions! .

I don’t have an Altox but I believe that the button can be used without a SIM fitted.
I can supply an adapter from D4 plug to the 5 pin Altox v4 if required. 16 D4 SE Tech / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
