D3 FBH Water Pump Plug and wires
Hello all,
I recently sourced a coolant leak down to the FBH casing, managed to source the part locally (JEX000030 - just as the one on Advanced Factors website; so I know its a quality part).

Today upon removal of the original water pump, I realised that the power supply is integrated into it. The new part has a plug for the wiring and no wiring or plug supplied with it.

Mechanic/friend told me to take the new pump to an electrician in order to find a plug that fits and add two wires that we will subsequently solder onto the cut wiring of the original one and plug it in the system as it is now.
Does this sound right (or at least as a solution) or am I missing something. All the new pumps I seem to find come without the wiring.
Can anyone shed some light? Or know what kind of plug I am after to save some time?

I have the correct plug type here but the wrong keying.
Difficult for me to know what you can get hold of in Malta but here goes.
The VW part number for the connector is 4H0973702A
A scrap D4 or 2010+ RRS, if they are fitted with the FBH in Malta, would get you one. Also diesel VW Group products roughly 2009-2018.
As Webasto parts:
The whole cable for the TT V or TT V Evo is available as 1321857A or VW part number 1K0965537
Two plugs are on the TT Evo (not V Evo) cable: 1320306A
Sorry I don't know more.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Hi Martin,
Thank you for all the information.
As mentioned, I just came back from the electrician and he managed to fit a Mercedes plug.
