Brilliant guide and prompted me to have a go myself! Hi all just run the webasto software with a lead from future net and it seems to be saying a pump fault does anyone know the part number for the FBH fuel pump please? I've looked and can't seem to find it, it's for my d3 56 plate. I want to try this before a strip down. Also when it runs can you hear it ticking in the FBH or do you need to be near the pump to hear it working?

Hi all
I’m in the middle of this now and need some advice please!

I’ve cleaned the ribbed bit 3 times and it’s fairly better. But not a whole lot of carbon came out.
Should I be checking the glow plug as well? Or just reassemble and check? Or are there further parts I need to check?

Did yours not work? What is see here in burning patern, everything burns ok...
If they look like this then do not need cleaning normally
If your glow plug is “glazed” that one should be cleaned.... but be carefull, if you break or destroy the glowplug is not cheap.....
In this part of the heater (burner part) only 2 things are important... a good nozzle so the pray patern is ok, and the glow/measuring plug, which start the burning and after ignition, controls the burning...
If these are ok (apart from the gasket of course) and it does not work, there is another problem elsewere...Best regards

I’ve not assembled it yet as I want to know if there’s anything else I need to do while it’s apart
The fuel nozzle seems ok as air can be blown through
The glow plug is clean
But the cup bit is damaged I think? See image
Is it safe to assemble or?

Done this and reassembled. Start the truck up at 1 degrees half a tank and still not working GRRRRRR
Any ideas people?
Can’t hear it working. Can’t feel any intake sickroom or exhaust pressure

Hi I uploaded some images. I stripped it. Cleaned etc.
Just put it back in and there’s still no life
20 fuse 2nd to bottom left in box
Half tank fuel
1degrees
Been cleaned of carbon in chamber
Only thing I can see is the glow plug cup that holds fuel has about 1/3 flaked off
Is there anything In the images you can see that could give a clue as to what’s next please?

Webasto does not have a specific TTV list anymore, from what i see with them.. only the TT Evo partslist...
It looks like it is the same, although not sure
Edit: look beneath... part numbers TTV and TT Evo differ... (for future reference TTV =D3, TT EVO = D4 approx)
Other data in my archive is giving me this for the TTV specific
9021763A. Incl glowplug (works only with DP40 pump)
9021764A with fuel valve for parking heater (works only with DP41 pump)
9021765A with fuel valve for auxiliary heater (works only with DP41 pump)
So i do not have THE answers for now, but a few partnumbers at least Best regards

Don’t know if this is what you are looking for? Apologies if not....
As an aside my fbh is extremely smoky....it works but also creates panicked looks from other motorists in the early morning when my fbh fills the street with smoke... will stripping it down cure this or is it ‘normal’?
I'd say my fbh is almost smokefree, all that alerts you that it is running is the noise..
