Hmmm - maybe I didn't try enough - I was on a slight upward slope and tried to reverse off - it didn't feel like the EPB was going to release so I released it manually - will perform some investigations...

applies to my Nov 04 manual anyway.


A manual D3 only asks you to put your foot on the brake or the clutch if you're not on level ground (at least that's what ours does). When you're on the flat, you just press the lever and the EPB disengages. I don't see why that's a concern, what's wrong with it?
