Replaced rear near side drop link this morning. What a pig!!! Old one had come apart and had to grind both ends off !!
New one went on in ten minutes.
Cleaned, polished and waxed this afternoon.
If looks quite smart for a 10 year old!

So a fairly busy weekend.
Geoff popped up and did steering flush and a couple of bits of software yesterday.
I have then changed the engine oil and filter, air filter and all the transmission oils less the T-Box which will have to wait as it's getting a tad windy and more oil ends up on me than in the tray, I now smell like a waste oil drum!!!De-Tango

Had a new RS500 intercooler fitted and V8 front discs and pads by DM, yesterday.
Now goes and stops a lot better than it did yesterday morning! 8)
Also today just fitted new spot lights (LED, cheapo's from Ebay) and gave it a jet wash (to clean all the soot of the rear, due to broken intercooler pipe) Will take some pics tomorrow.

Not sure if they look right or not yet...and not driven in the dark since fitting them so can't say how bright they are.

Today I changed all brake pads on my D2
THEN
Fitted the LED rear lights TWICE that I bought from Flying Scotsman during the week.
The reason they were fitted twice was no one told me there were no reverse bulbs in them
Went from this
To this in around 15 mins 8)
Then dropped the spare wheel to fit door trim round the RLD wheel protector
This came off
And this went back on
Then when I came into the house this had arrived, but it will be fitted another day
Then gave it a wash
Now for a couple of MagnersD3 57 xs Stornaway grey
D2 02 commercial silver gone but a great servant and won't be forgotten

I've broken it, after all of 3 days ownership. Took the kids out to the skate park and emerged to find it sitting in a pool of brake fluid.
Not the most auspicious start having convinced Mrs Paco she needs a V8 D3 instead of her totally reliable and bomb-proof Skoda.
Dumped it at a local indy who will be surprised on Monday, hope they don't mind!
