Looks like your bumper has been distorted at some point Mark, heat it up in the middle with a hot air gun, then park the car with the bumper pressed against a wall, fence, skip or similar pushing it straight, once cooled it will align
O Greg I didn't read the bottom bit so i pushed it up against the wife car
I will just warm her bumper and get it back in shape

Completed the spare wheel winch mod (Cheap version). Ended up using both extension bars in the end as the short one is perfect for clearing your knuckles from the seat backs. Works!
Removed both front seats and the middle rear in the hunt for a colleagues engagement ring - it popped off her figure while she was twiddling it. No sign of it anywhere....Anyone else lost a ring and can suggest somewhere to look? She was a front seat passenger and "heard it land" behind her somewhere. Her wedding ring was found on her knee..

Ok it's hardly heavy engineering, but it was strangely satisfying
Car got a good clean today, and the scruffy centrepieces on the wheels got replaced...they've been bugging me for a while now
Big Red still scrubs up nicely, with 68k on the clock....

Looks great Euan. I will shortly have had my Bali blue D4 for five years, and although it's still only covered 64,000 miles, I'm hoping to change it before too long. Now what do I swap it for?

Swapped my locking wheel nuts & one swollen nut for 5 new ones. I must have caught the the dodgy one just in time as I was able to fit a 22mm socket on with a few taps of a soft hammer. Looks better now the rusty locking nuts have gone.
Also checked the Turbo Actuator. gave it a good squirt of GT85 and it was nice and free. About 10mm of movement back and forth? Felt OK. Quite easy to do with the car in high suspension setting and the wheel on.
