Made the car appear teeny this morning then fitted some mud flaps. But think the rears need to be bigger.

Well, my D3 failed the MOT today on a Tie rod end and twisted brake pipe, so I've changed both Tie rod ends as a precaution and sorted the pipe. Luckily the existing MOT doesn't run out until late December, so it's booked back in next week for a retest.
I'm quite chuffed that's all it was, although it had an advisory on 'possible' wear NS Front upper suspension arm bushes - that can wait until the summer.
I believe that a previous MOT certificate is no longer valid if a vehicle has failed despite having been issued less than a year before. This means that the insurance is no longer valid until a new pass certificate is issued. Driving to a garage for repair or the retest is covered as long as there is a booked appointment.

Ron is correct, as soon as a vehicle fails its test it is unfit for the road, any previous test is invalidated. A car can't be both fit and unfit at the same time.A visitor from the dark side, my other vehicle is an is still an EV. Strictly speaking its SWMBO.
