Good god, I never knew such a thing existed! Best invention ever!
Better get some for my D4 - I don't think it has any.

I hate that on my 7 seater, you can't drop the spare with the rear seats down. Annoying if we ever get a puncture on the ay home from the shops.

Just pack in you tool kit an extension bar............No Need then to move the seats, it will fit through the gap between the 6th and 7th seat whilst folded away
Well thats what I do anyway

1. Rain sensor doesn't - always too fast, no override, random wipes when dry
2. Wipers don't fold up away from screen and stay there like every other car on the planet - useless in snow as wipers then freeze to screen. Front and rear both the same.
3. Rear door has gap between plastic trim and door that fills up with slush and stays wet needs to be cleaned out regularly.
4. On MY07 you can't have the clock and the trip info on the display at the same time
5. Voice command woman just apologies constantly when you try to voice dial the phone (SORRY?)

Paul, in reference to 1 - if you click the rotary sensitivity control round one position and back again, you will get a manual wipe Bit odd, but it works! 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!

Any movement to a "faster" speed causes an instant wipe, but I already have too many wipes not found a way to make it slower.
A good glass polish over the rain sensor usually makes it more accurate as the water beads and runs away, but not ideal that the rotary sensitivity dial does not work - at least for me
LRA loan D4 had same issue - wipers did not fold up on that either!

Going to add to this thread since I've found something on my ace D3 that irritates. Ok it's not going to cause the world to stop rotating but...
Is it just me or does the auto-dim rear view mirror annoy when there's something not that far behind but, because of the position of the sensor at the bottom of the mirror and the position of the centre headrest in the second row of seats, the mirror doesn't dim but you get an eyeful of headlamps?
Wouldn't the sensor be better positioned at the top of the mirror instead?!

Rain sensors brilliant, I hate cars that don't have it.
Why is there no indicator on the dashboard that the headlights are on? I always have to check with the blue light of the long range lights that they are on.
Why can't I read the clock? The older I get, the better I was.

Hate the LCD displays LEDs are much easier to read with a quick glance, love rain sensors . Why buy a car when you can buy a Land Rover.....because I'm worth it.

It has a light sensor for auto headlights so why the hell do the 'get you home' lights come on during the day?
Only 1 window is auto up/down thats just plain cheap!
No auto window opening/closing on the key.
Why don't the mirrors fold in when you lock the car?
Can't see the clock when on the phone (without spending more cash on a 2007+ model )
Still like it though

Wipers still possessed by the god of hellfire on the Disco4
(still don't fold up from screen either like all other cars on the planet, so don't take them anywhere it snows where they freeze to the screen)
