The location of the high beam warning light: In my normal seating position is directly behind the top of the wheel and obscured: occ forget high beams are on and dazzle people; have a habit of tilting head sideway at times to confirm high beams not on!!
Agree clock is far too dim and small - could have an accident trying to read it!
What about some high level netting in the back for stowing stuff.
5 Seat option for those of us who have absolutely no need for 7 seats but don't want a base spec vehicle.
Thats' about it for me.Disco4, BMW1200RT,

Why can't the clock display etc be in a "bright" green and much "larger"....these cars aren't driven by ten year olds with perfect eyesight after all....just my little gripe....I still love driving my D3 though.

Sorry....I should just add - if you leave your D3 parked in the wrong part of town (insert your town here) it will end up being driven by a ten year old with good eyesight - and he'll have his girlfriend with him and they'll both have flick knives in their pockets...what is the world coming to.....

That was fitted to 2007 and later models, in place of the useless FBH indicator lamp.

Agree with that. Where's the sense in having an off road vehicle that doesnt like getting its brake dirty
And if I could stop the rear wiper coming on when selecting reverse I would, 's me off everytime.

What little things don't I like, hmmmm let me think!
and every other little thing that has failed on a 4 year old car! I've had more faults on my D3 than all my other cars put together, it's just taken 2 weeks to get through it's 2nd MOT and estimated £1500 (more than I've spent on MOTs for my other cars combined).
And no curry hook, I'd like a proper curry hook!

I hate how long it takes for the rear sensors to come on. I can be halfway up my drive before I realise its not working.

Regarding the nut for the spare wheel I fitted a socet then extestion bar up between the seats.
You may have to cut a bar if you cannot find a small oneconvoy For Heroes record holder (348)

Two things from my side.
Handles on the a-pillar would be nice to get in and out.
Hate the annoying chime when the key is in the ignition and the drivers door is open.

Upto now the only think really annoying me is the fact you cant put anything on the passenger seat without the seatbelt bong going off! took a small parcel to the post office and the sodding thing was getting on my nerves
OH and the fact that the badges on the rear door/bonnet are virtually imposible to clean/polish without leaving muck in the corners

Is this a record for the longest sleeping thread before being re-animated? Almost a 5 year gap there
Marsie, that has a known fix - see this post.Dr. Ian Malcolm:
