Glad you got yours fixed especially at no cost. Mine is working fine again with just a new servo ,although I wish I had gone to Land Rover like you did to save a couple of hundred pounds.. I think I will write to them anyway to state the problems I had even after the recall work had been done.

Just had the same problem. Original recall for brake servo carried out in 2009. Contacted Land Rover and they covered the bill, over a grand. I think the original recall fix fails again after a few years. MY2006.
Thanks to the treads on this website lead me down that route. Thanks Guys

Try and get a new O-ring, and grease it up when fitting, as they tend to tear, and loose vacuum pressure again.

What are the gains from upgrading the servo?
I have already upgraded the front brakes to the 6 pot Brembo and the rear has had a V8 upgrade2007 D3 2.7 SE Automatic

How difficult a job is this to do Mikey? Do you also replace the master cylinder at the same time?
