D3 2006 SE - LED-rear lights upgrade
Hi, I have upgraded my rear lights to LED. Tried to follow the powerful UK vid on YouTube.
Still im having problems with my direction signal doubleclicking. The exterior lights are normal, but the interior signal lights are acting like bananas.
Anyone have a clue or fix on this?
Thanks!

You need to stick a resister in there, bridge it between the indicator positive and negative wires. (3 and 5 Iirc ). If you've already done that then check the connection you've made.

Ok! I've put in a resistor as described in the vid. Bought it from advanced factors. I used the included quick clips, may be that I didn't get it right.. But can you describe how I find the 3 and 5 lirc?

Probably a fault with the quick connectors. Were they blue ones ?

Yes probably a bad contact on the quick connects. Numbers 3 and 5 are stamped on the back of the harness multi plug, but really small.

As has been said before probably the snap/quick connectors give them a right good squeeze with a set of pliers or grips that normally gets the contact required.

Slightly late reply here, but I ft found out that I had connected them wrong on the left hand side, and n the right hand side, the connection was correct, but the wire had slipped to the side of the quick clips, but it's all working perfectly now! Thanks alot for all helpful answers!
