On the video you can hear where it bogs down, the DSC kicked in as im sure i hit silt or some claggy crud.

The Cherokee in front had a similar issue but not as bad as he was about 1/2 the weight of me Smile

No Winch on mine though, Think I'll end up selling my winch tray as I can't get the enthusiasm to do it on my current one Sad

I've only seen 2 FF's with them fitted though and both looked the part Smile[/img]

Ken i have to say i loved the pic of your TDV8 Smile

Are the tubes just chrome ones that are painted black or were they strengthened to act as mini sliders?

THe Sump guard is very diffent on a TDV8 its a Fookin heavy plate that is fitted directly to the underside so not visable in a D3 way

There was a cosmetic guard I think Ala G4

Swapped my 2008 Range Rover Sport (TDV8 HST) for a 2009 Disco HSE to bank a few quid, save money on day to day running costs and have a more practical vehicle.

The simple answer was it was far more practical with masses more space, crap in comparison performance wise and not massively better on fuel towards the end. It certainly used less tyres and brakes for a similar amount of miles though.

It also depreciated far more than the sport which lost £5000 in two years compaired to almost £10000 for the Disco in two years.

If I was honest I loved the Disco despite all these problems but if you don't need the extra seats or space in the boot I would go for the Sport over the Disco every time having looked at both over a decent period of time!
