Its been said before (on this forum, in this thread and on other discussion places....) - Dr Tranny is nothing more than a band-aid to temporarily mask the issue/symptom.
@Toni - It is NOT a magic fix. All it does is take away the judder for a short amount of time but does not cure the problem that is causing the judder. As has been said in a post on this thread, it will eventually make it worse and cause more damage.
At best you need a new TC. Most likely, due to using Dr T and therefore prolonging the problem (ie. a worn TC) you will now have taken the gearbox out as well. hence getting the transmission fault.
Time for putting Dr T in the bin and getting a new TC and recon box MY2008 D3 - It got me hooked...gone
MY2012 D4 - It kept me hooked...gone
MY2007 D3 - Mid-Life crisis toy continues driving me to bankruptcy...
MY2018 "D5" Si6 - But is it a "true" LR...discuss...but now gone
Back in a D4 with a lot of extras....

Not sure of the question. If you mean what does TC mean then it’s torque converter. If you mean which one then I would recommend new from Bristol Transmissions
And you have my sympathies - D3 has new TC and reconned (mechatronic) gear box. Was done mid last year but it did last approx 250,000 km’s of very, very hard use. I’m sure I will eventually need my D4 doing at some point as well.... MY2008 D3 - It got me hooked...gone

If you are inserting though the cooler pipes, you can't have the engine running
See previous page for how to add

If your adding it through the filler, remove the filler with the engine stopped and allow half a litre to drain out, refit the filler
Then start the engine and remove the filler add the Dr Tranny and top up the gearbox oil until it starts coming back out. Andrew

If your adding the small tubes of Dr Tranny what I did was put the drivers side up on ramps and with the engine running put it in through the level plug. Steve
