First time I used dr Tranny it took about 15 mins to add via the cooler hose. After thinking about this before I did it a second time there must be some valving that slows the fluid returning down the hose.
So for the second application (after a metal sump conversion) I added dr tranny via a small length of hose into the top pipe of the cooler. Poured straight in. No resistance. Quick and easy.
IN CASE THIS WAS MISSED THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO DO IT QUICK AND SIMPLE:
The pipe is not designed for reverse flow so daft idea putting in there. Your own spare pipe onto the oil cooler after taking off existing pipe and the Dr trannhy just flows in in seconds.

Well I thought I better try this as I have had a tube in the car for months.
Using the method described above it took me less than 5 minutes from start to finish!
1. Clean area with spray WD40 or similar
2. Loosen screw clip at top of (non reverse flow) pipe where it meets oil cooler.
3. Move pipe out of way keeping end upright.
4. Push on 2 foot section of basic garden hosepipe (clean/dry) or similar tubing.
5. Add Dr Tranny to pipe while holding pipe upright - it will flow in in a second or two.
6. Remove hosepipe and refit oil cooler pipe and scew up.
7. Run engine for a few minutes.

The mechanic who did my mega flush today appeared to just squeeze the Dr Tranny in via the gearbox oil filler plug. That said the car was 6ft in the air at the time which might make things easier 2007 D3 TDV6 XS - GONE

Update on mine.
I have come to the conclusion that judder is a worn TC, I replaced it £1300 Bristol transmissions, dragged her over the Pyrenees last summer smooth and reliable. I added Dr Tranny lasted a matter of weeks you cant repair mechanical wear with liquid.

ZF transmission cost
I got a price quote of £2500+vat (fluctuations like the DowJones). ZF factory remanufactured transmission. You'll have to get the old tranny sent back to ZF (deposit refunded upon inspection of your old trans to ZF). I believe you can order trans from Sussex autoparts transmission but you'll need to get trans installed too..... All of the above exclude installation cost....

Does anyone know anywhere where you can get this in the shops?
Need to do this for a big drive this Christmas and I'm not counting on online delivery this time of year.
Thanks

DR Tranny is bad it will form a coating on the friction plates which over time will wear off like pealing laquer into your delicate inner workings stay clear of it.iiD Bluetooth Diagnostic Tool
