Can anyone send me the files for the SNOTM update. For some strange reason Genesis doesn't list this file under my VIN when looking at the touch screen ECU (mine is a 2006 RRS - yes I know it's the wrong forum but there is loads more info and help on this one!)

Hello Gents!
I love my Discovery 3 to death. Have been driving it for over 6 years now. Now got this terrible message on my screen: HLDF CAN BOOTLOADER Walting to Start Download.
I see great many people were helped here. I kindly ask you for help to get my baby back to shape!
My e-mail is: raider [at] lostark.net
Thank you very much!

Problem is it's an 18mb file, too big to email, need to find someone who's willing to put it on a server somewhere, but then there may be issues with copyright etc.Clive

Thank you for your answer, Clive. Gmail supports till 20 MB via email without problem. If I had it I would gladly share it via dropbox.com or similar.
Cheers,

Thank you for your help! If anyone needs it, just send me a message. I found the procedure by wiggs at some other topic. This is a good thread to have it too, so I am pasting the text below. Also mind, you may have to start the procedure twice. First time when I put the recorded DVD-R inside, the green progress bar appeared. It lasted about 45 mins and then the screen turned off. I took out the DVD-R and put it inside again. This time the progress bar was pink with additional text that the software is uploading. It took more or less the same amount of time and when second pass finished, everything got back to normal.
"
Boot loaderÂ
burn the ISO file to a dvd disk (DVD-R preferably) Slowly (2x if poss )Â
turn ignition to POSITION 1 in the car ( not ignition lights on )Â
remove the sat nav disk from under passenger seatÂ
put in newley burnt diskÂ
watch the nav screen ...you should see a progress barÂ
its going to take 45 mins ...i suggest you connect a battery charger to the car while its updatingÂ
when the disk is finished remove and put back in the nav disk"
Cheers

Hi
I sorted mine....there is a download on here somewhere that you burn onto a DVD-R and load into your DVD player under the passenger seat and let it do its thing! Mine has worked perfectly since! Wish I could say the same about the car
