I bet the legal world is riddled with sexism, but that wasn't it! Her picture was clearly taken by a professional photographer, not a selfie on a mobile phone. Presumably she went to the trouble in order to grab attention, and she did. Then she decided to complain about a compliment that her picture was stunning! She's a complete (I think you'll find both sexes have those).
Is this really all she has to do with her time, that is so far over the top, she is a fully grown woman, putting a posed photo up and nobody can say its a stunning photo?????

As above; this woman went to the effort of doing her hair, make-up, getting a photographer and then releasing a flattering over-the-shoulder shot of herself on the Internet. Why is she moaning about about getting the attention she worked so hard to achieve?
She could have released a photo of herself in a business suit set at a desk with a pen in her hand, or even dressed in drab legal garb. No need for posed close-ups in the business world.
Meanwhile the real issues with sexism in the workplace is devalued by her ridiculous reaction.
Feel sorry for the bloke who has found his use of the word 'stunning' being twisted into a sexist term.

Robbie - couldn't agree more
My Daughter used to model for Abercrombie & Fitch and Holister - she is now a 4th Year Medical Student - one of the Consultants that she works with calls her and a fellow Student 'My pretty little Students' - is that sexist - no - the guy is about 60 and uses the expression light-heartedly - because they are both pretty, small and students.
It appears that she guilty of the very "gender discrimination" about which she protests so much!
She makes a great play of female genital mutilation, but never mentions male genital mutilation !
Quote:
Male Genital Mutilation (Circumcision)
Why do so many people insist on having the right to mutilate a defenseless boy’s penis?
Most people refer to the removal of the foreskin from the penis as “circumcision”. When done to a non-consenting and defenceless child, there are so many disturbing issues involved that it’s difficult to know where to begin.
First of all, let’s get this straight. It is nothing short of mutilation – it is the destruction and removal of normal and healthy tissue. In fact, it’s more than just ’tissue’. It’s an extremely nerve-rich and erogenous part of the penis.

You might say that about a landscape but why would you say it over a woman you don't know ?
All of you that are saying because she did her hair and make up she sort of deserved it ..she should expect it ...I wonder whether you think about rape victims in the same way ? 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I don't usually agree with you DG but on this occasion you are bang on.
Clearly in this context the fella saying 'stunning' meant it in a sexual way. If anyone (doesn't have to be the female lawyer concerned) deems that to be sexist then it is sexist. End of story.MY15 D4 SDV6 HSE Corris Grey - Gone

Well I don't agree and I don't even see how such a comment could meet any legal definition:
Quote:
n. unequal treatment in employment opportunity (such as promotion, pay, benefits and privileges), and expectations due to attitudes based on the sex of an employee or group of employees. Gender bias can be a legitimate basis for a lawsuit under anti-discrimination statutes.
Just how did this comment impact her opportunities?
This comment was meant as a compliment, she has just chosen to twist it into an issue.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Why? ...I see tribunal case reports all the time from the likes of people making comments like "stunning" to physical sexual attacks between men and women in the workplace.
I'm just throwing in a few hardballs for people to think about. You are saying she had make up on had done her hair therefore she was asking for it ...and this is no different to what some sexual attackers would say.
