Plug it into your Mac to do the upgrade and it doesn't need as much room.

I listen to my music on random when reading on my iPad at night.
Had U2 track come on a couldn't remember putting their track to my iPad.
Then 10 min later I get another U2 track playing!
It then dawned on me that I'd heard a few days ago that you get the U2 album when you update to IOS8.
That's good, but I don't want Apple to dictate what music I have in my library.
And I don't really want U2 in it ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

But how did it turn up on my iPad ....... I don't have an iPhone 6, just a 4.
Was it just an automatic download when I connected to my PC?
I did hear also that it couldn't be removed from the 6 and needed a special app to do it....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

As I understood it, it was 'added' to cloud which meant all Apple products when linked to cloud would 'see' it.
I have it on my phone and two iPads but chose not to 'download' it. It's still there in the cloud but not downloaded to my units. CBA to look further into deleting permanently off the cloud.
I think corporate sponsored 'spam' is probably the best descriptor of it IMO
