you are watching the position light !!! no brake light !!!
yes they are very goods and clear off faults....and the best...in the MOT( ITV in Spain) no problem at alllost in translation!

No....it´s the same intensity and color...and yes...more bright... ...in the line of the modern rear lights...AND IT´S not the case in the D4 ...the rear lights in the D4 disappear ( like in off) when my Front xenon are very close of they ...and this not happen in others cars...I only saw it in old rear leds ( perhaps in the first leds in VW Passat also this happens ) lost in translation!

s, when you drives, or stop, very close behind a car with the first rear leds, old leds, they loose much light by the action of you front lights...like if they were really in off...its an curious effect that no occurs in modern leds...except D4 lost in translation!

Hi All - a quick update on some interior and side light recommendations for the D3, D4 and RRS
The leds for the interior can be replaced. for the door cards, boot light i recommend the the ulta led modules - sku LEDMOD10WW
for the centre front interior lamp if you want really bright then SKU: LEDMOD25WW
i added a 1.5w red led to the passenger side for map reading - works great SKU: 501LED5XPR-1
for the 3rd row, foot well and the other roof lights i would go for SKU: 501LED13LWW-2
i hated the xenons on my d4 - really yellow compared to d3 lights. i upgraded to these - sku 42403XV -improvement in light spread and brightness and colour is mind blowing
the side lights and number plate lights you can upgrade with the 13 led SKU: 501LED13LW-1

But exactly how many of each light do we need for the interior?
I'd go out and check my car, but I'm about 3800 Km, 3 provinces and maybe 6 weeks away from my car now. But was planning on ordering a few days before I leave for home.

I used about 16 (from memory) of the 501 LEDs for all the interiors, puddle lights, rear number plate light and the side lights.

Woohoo, my guess was right!!
Though I did cheat. I bought 20 and have 4 left in the bag with all the old bulbs.
