CAA Drone Operator Registration
Email received this morning "You need to renew your Drone Operator ID" and you owe the government £9 for the privilege.
Follow the link for the Civil Aviation Authority, the login identifies me correctly but there is absolutely no way to make a payment - no link, no icon, nuffinck.
Rang the helpline and it eventually goes to an answerphone that states "this office is now closed until the 3rd of January"!!!!!
This wouldn't be a government run organisation by any chance (he says sarcastically)?
WTF "Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"
Current Ride: D4 XS Commercial Baltic Blue SDV6 fully loaded with heated everything
Track Days: BMW E36 M3 Evolution MY 1996 (3.2 Litre 377 BHP sat in 1,250 Kgs of car, with a pro safety cage and some serious braking power)
Before knowing any Welsh-speakers, I had some signs made for our gate(s): one in English; one in Welsh. The English one says "Do not open the gate: dogs running free". They've been there for six months and only today am I told the Welsh version translates as "Do not open the gate: have a running dog without paying".
Dim fach?I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Quite hard to translate Englush to Welsh to be honest, so many nuances in the Language, and many different dialects.

Very minor in the grand scheme of things, but the car Ads for EV's that have the RIP headstone about keeping petrol back in the gound. Where do they think the gas comes from that powers most of the UK powerstations that supplies the electricity to charge their EV's

Remember the holier than thou brigade actually believe that their leckie cars are zero emissions. “I’m paying more for green electricity so I’m doing my bit”, yeah right.

"When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die! You don't know who's children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken. How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they were always going to have to do from the very beginning: SIT DOWN AND TALK!"
