I went to put a deposit down on a new D5 that I had configured, but the last build slot the dealer had for May which they thought was amendable, is not.
So it looks like it could be a MY20 model but they are no details available that I know of it yet.
All seems a bit crap. Still lurking, although moved to the dark side: disco5.co.uk

Been in gordon lambs today trying to do same for SWMBO looks like things are being locked down and also the huge disclaimer to sign warning prices can be changed at anytime prior to delivery due to Brexit and most probably will MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

Easy solution to that for any brand - don’t order and keep existing car longer as it will be cheaper and dealers will be desperate enough later in the year. 2014MY Discovery

They may well be desperate, but it won’t change the higher cost of importing one from Slovakia Then expect interest hikes on PCP agreements that the dealer’s will be equally unable to do anything about.
You are right about us having to hang on to our current cars for longer though, several years longer... 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

LR have different prices for different countries. I would imagine they will keep the supply/demand equilibrium here.
In any case, it won’t effect me and the D5 I purchased at the later part of last year.

Well I'm keeping the D4 its SWMBO that's having the D5 - dealer did say interest rates will be going up, land rovers April price increase about to kick in and then they have this clause it will also no doubt go up due to Brexit in the coming months but you do have the choice of getting your money back if you wish at any time prior to delivery. That’s a good discount. Almost as good as I got - 18% off the top of my head, but a new stock car.
I suppose if your buying on PCP or HP then the price can fluctuate, but not if you pay cash.

Yep there are 170 odd new cars in stock if you choose one you will be able to get 10-20% off judging by discussions I had this week. Its just finding one that meets your spec, not many 3.0l with decent spec left on the list. MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

My reasons are partly about the look, I can't bring myself to like it, but mainly because I often carry a lot of stuff about with passengers also in the car.
The 100mm lower height of the boot opening is a real killer for me, and I like to be able to drop just one rear seat at a time in the D3, often the middle one.

Mmm, I know I said what I did above, but I drove a 3.0 TD6 HSE D5 over the weekend.
Might have to change my mind!

I did a few hundred miles in a D5 2.0 HSE with every option box ticked at the weekend.
Lets not get into the looks, you either love it or hate it (aside from the boot being to high, I quite like it now), but Jesus Christ that engine is woeful.
Not so much slow, but compared to the D4 is just hideously gutless, I just couldn't cope with it. You need to press the throttle half an hour before you actually want to overtake something (in this case a horsebox, so not a fast moving vehicle) and even then its a bit of an puckering event.
No thanks for the 2.0.
On a separate note, in the 5500 miles since new, its averaged 18.7 MPG

18.5mpg!!!
The 2.0 wouldn’t work for me.
My boat on it’s trailer is over 2 Tns, and when we’re off camping for two weeks in the summer I fill it with camping and diving gear on top of that.
My D3 copes with it really well, but I’m sure a 2.0 4cyl would struggle on the uphill sections down past Exeter.

It does mostly short runs in the week admittedly, but even they are 10 miles long. Most weekends it does between 100-300 mile trips.
