Fuel consumption 2007 TDV6 Auto
Had the Disco TDV6 Auto for 21 months and it gives 25-27mpg evey day, mixed extra urban. On a 70 mph run it can get 32-34 mpg. Current mileage 21,000 and it seems to be getting better every day. Superb machine.

Just back from two week holiday in Cornwall. 4 month old auto with 3500 miles....over 1200 miles the disco averaged 32.5mpg and on the 320 mile trip down on the motorway the computer was showing 35.5mpg.
Happy at the figures considering it is still a 'tight' engine.

This was on a steady run at 55mph to Conway along the A55 on arrival at the dealer. A distance of about 40 miles. The car has 1200 miles on the clock.
Needless to say the figures around town are far less impressive, but it has a long way to go before it loosens up.
I did the same run in the old disco with 44,000 miles on the clock, and got 41.6!

Lets face ti there are more of us getting low 20's than those getting 30's ! My Td5 is better on fuel on a run (110 lifted, mt's,rollcage etc) At my last service recall thing they lent me a new Freelander eco+ jobbie and that never did better than 28 on the day I had it.

I downloaded that same app a couple of months back. The D3 was displaying 26mpg on trip display, but when I input the litres and milage into the app it threw back out 21mpg I've manged to get it up to 25mpg on a run, although I do run MTR's with a heavy right foot.
