From memory insert card into computer and boot up the soft ware, go into settings and there is a section on the password and setting up wifi. You have t put info off the box in as the initial unit registration and then from memory the password is blackvue MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

numpty here....
just wanted to slip into this thread and ask if anyone has had a reduction on their insurance premiums for having a camera on board?
Noting the price of the latest iteration in this thread is this currently one gizmo too far, or are people finding it a useful addition to their cars?

What please is the best way to format a new memory card?
Download a program or do it in the device.
If the former, which program & where please.

Ok, so exactly where do I wire it?
I just have the standard power cable, not the magic thingy.
Should it be powered by a continuous live (where from?) or should it be from an IGN switched power supply?

LR Ins £35 discount.
Find it a very useful addittion, for instance, last week a council truck reversed into my Mum's car at a set of lights, they admitted liability but if she had a cam there would be absolutely no doubt. I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.

Sorry to drag up an old thread!!! |

Hi
I am looking to get one of these... http://www.blackvue.co.uk/index.php/online...-fi-detail
Blackvue DR500GW HD with WiFi
Are they of high enough quality to show numberplates etc?
Been watching through some of the video in the BlackVue video thread, and i know there are a range of models, just a little concerned that some numberplates are unclear.
Thanks all
