I checked the specs on the bottle first and then bought all they had in stock.

I have now driven approx 200 miles since starting to use 2 stroke.
Engine already seems smoother and has more poke.
I also had a bit of a flat spot at about 1900rpm that seems to of gone...
Should of started using it sooner... Thumbs Up

You have convinced me, could be the placebo effect though Very Happy . So i thought I would put a bit of science behind my findings. No 2SO added as yet, but have ordered online the 2SO as mentioned a few posts back from screwfix http://www.screwfix.com/p/no-nonsense-hp-1...ltr/60281#

Using the IID tool i have taken a set of injector values, we will see if the 2SO has any effect, tbh they look good at the moment. It will be interesting to see what effect this has on the noise, although I think it's a quiet engine for a diesel.

I see people are using a 200:1 ratio, so I intend adding 400ml to a brimmed tank. Please advise if ive got the wrong ratio, i have also seen threads 300:1 & even 400:1.

Hi, just a few questions from a newbie. What is the two stroke supposed to do? Does it matter which brand as long as the ratio is maintained?

Not suitable I fear.

It must comply with JASO FC & be mineral or semi-synthetic. Fully synthetic 2sO does not burn ashfree
and as such is not suitable for vehicles with DPF.

Hi NJSS, how do you know it's synthetic ? , my research suggest otherwise but I'd appreciate your input.
My car is a D3 with no DPF.

Cheers.
