Just cleared out 2 tesco garages in my area, Actevo 2T is currently on sale for £2.96 a litre, it is not for sale in the shop! only the garage! I am the proud owner of 16 litres now, that should last me a while

I have been to all the Tesco stores locally and there is none on the shelves and no price tag to indicate they sell it. Went for Asda FB in the end at £5 a litre. First time I have used 2T so let's see how it goes.

Just been to my local Tesco Extra, and they'd got the Actevo for £2.96. I left a couple on the shelf for someone else!

As per nigel207.
The price shown was £7something, but when I asked the woman at the till to check, it came up as £2.96
Bought 10 and left 2 (well you can't be too greedy).
Many thanks for the heads up

You are forgiven, popped in this evening and there were 8 on the shelves!
All are in my garage now and they expect more at the same price on Thursday.
400 miles per tank, 333ml a time, 8 bottles added to my stock of 6 at the intermediate price =
16,800 miles worth.
That will take me to the 1st service of my D4 that I don't have yet.

Don't bother trying Tesco in Redditch. Went there tonight on a minor detour and snapped up 7 bottles in the filling station and 3 bottles in the store. The entire stock basically. All were st £2.96 although through the shelf price in store was £ 5.96.

Tesco Gainsborough (main store, didn't go into the filling station) looked to have none on the shelves but when asked they got some for me. £2.97 is a staggeringly good price for Actevo 2T- it's only double the price of diesel.
I now have 21 bottles in stock, which is 2 years worth for me.
to those that spotted this deal.

Just got back from a weeks holiday....445 miles fully loaded with 2-stroke in the tank for the first time (250ml).....mostly 70-75 mph driving, with the (admittedly optimistic) trip computer showing 34.5 mpg......that's by far the best I've seen in 2 years of ownership...I'm a convert "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

My initial mpg improvement has not lasted, so guess I was unintentionally driving in a more economic manner. Still, the mpg is better than before and the engine seems better for it. Will see how it goes over the next few months.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

I noticed straight away, less clackety, appeared smoother ?
Just as others on here have mentioned, but in answer to your question it was almost instantaneous as the fuel must have gone thro the system the oil within must have done something ?
It didn't require several tank fulls to flush the lube around it was good from the first fill.Only dead fish go with the Flow !
