Ok so I've been using 2 stroke for the past year of ownership only I ran out of 2 stoke for the last 3/4 fills and its a bit smoky and lumpy on a cold start for a few seconds, stopped being a slack ass and bought some actevo, second morning in the smoke and lumpiness vanished and its been super smooth since its not just a placebo effect Admin on Facebook Discovery 3 & 4 Ownersgroup
Cambelt, Fuel Pump Belt, Oil Pump & Water pump replaced by Flack
Any suggestions on cheapest available 2SO in UK?
I have run out of the Actevo I bought many months ago when it was cheap!

Well, having run 2 stroke for the last 1500 miles, it would appear it has helped the lumpy idle when cold (not cured, but defo better) smoother and quieter cruising, and fuel economy has improved, it would seem

Tried this on wifes 3.0 tdi audi and I can tell the difference with it starting, its always had to be cranked for roughly 2 seconds before firing, now its a second or so, utterly only change is the 2SO.
Tried some in my 90 200tdi and that actually now smokes less when being thrashed mercilessly, which is a real achievement
Also stuck some in the D3 but as only owned for 4 days cant rally comment on any improvements!
Slightly unusual Christmas present (to self !! ) but should see me ok for two or three years Morris Dancers: Drinkers with A Dance Problem

I have trouble using my 500ml bottle without dribbling it everywhere - I'd love to see you pouring this in without spilling it!

I would refill an Actevo bottle that has the poring spout. Two of those can be easily stored in the rear compartment. Reminds me to check my stock of 2SO and decide if I need to get myself an Xmas present 2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.

Going by the very long previous thread, anything meeting FC grading was suitable including semi-synth and synth if you wanted to but the fully synth costs ruled it out on financial considerations alone (FC for DPF-fitted vehicles otherwise FB grading was adequate)Morris Dancers: Drinkers with A Dance Problem
