Hi
Its the normal one (£45.99 for 20 litres). Plus delivery but it was only £6.50 to Scotland.
It's JASO-FC so (imho) comparable with Actevo
Its a cracking deal, I'm surprised there hasn't been more interest
If it's Valvoline 2T, and I say IF as the Europarts page says "If there is a Brand shown in the picture above
in some cases this may differ from the Brand supplied" - then it's JASO FB see:-
Nowhere, that I can see, does it say whether this is 100% mineral, semi-synthetic or fully synthetic.
Fully synthetic 2sO does not burn ash-free and as such is not suitable for vehicles with DPF.
This is aside from the fact that it is substantially more expensive than normal mineral or
semi-synthetic 2sO conforming to JASO-FC.

Well I have been looking for days all over after reading about the benefits. Finally found some Castrol Bottles in Asda, I thought ‘lucks in’ got a basket and empted a few in, got to the check out and the lady scanned them, looked at me and said ‘I cant sell these sir’, to my amazement I said ‘why’, rather stereo typically she said ‘the till had come up unable to sell’. Supervisor came and said ‘no sorry we cannot sell these’ and took them away . Just before they were whisked away we noticed a date on the bottle 25/03/13.
Would I be mistaken in thinking that this a sell by date for oil, out by 6 months

Castrol recalled some products including Actevo earlier this year for fear of water contamination. My guess is someone forgot to remove from stock/shelves and the computer then blocks any sales, just in case.
I keep looking, but have not found any on shelves. On my last bottle - unlike some that bought in bulk 2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.

How do you know if your Disco has a DPF? I can only find FB here in Sweden so I need to know before I start my 2sO treatment.

Just received 2 x 20L of Lubron mineral based 2 stroke from Alex Oil.
Works out at £2.30 inc VAT or £1.92 ex VAT per litre delivered!
