So it runs smoother and gives more economy. Does it make it any more responsive or faster too? Sounds good. Economy is very low on my priority list as my previous cars show however, I reckon its adding a few pounds to every fill up so is it really more economical?
The smoother and quieter wins for me though

Doesn't make it anymore responsive, or faster. I put it in my work van for economy only. A round trip of 70 miles every day, soon adds up.
It will be going in my Disco though, to help prevent any wear to the injector nozzles, and keep the fuel system properly lubricated My D3 Build Thread

Cheers i might give it a try then. I'm getting a remap soon so assume i can still run 2 stroke after the remap? I think the engine is pretty quiet anyway to be honest for a deisel, especially compared to our work pool cars (61 plate volvo and mini countryman!)

Remap makes no difference to use of Mineral JASO FC.
Hope you have looked at BAS's remap; excellent & an elegant solution.

Thanks for the info, my next thing to trial!!
I went for the Autologics remap as it was just around the corner from work. Slightly faster and about 4 mpg more. Slightly disapointed with the extra performance, i thought it would make more difference Current: D3 TDV6 S; GGAT's, DIY 7inch Tablet mount, DIY Reversing Camera, Stage 1 remap, EGR delete

I am no expert but I thought the consensus seemed to be - use mineral not synthetic?

Car Man - that's JASO FB - which I'm sure is mineral though not as high quality as JASO FC (which is the Castrol Actevo spec), and yes, synthetic is not the recommended oil according the knowledgeable guys on this site

i know Full Synthetic is not recommended but if you read the original post by Yamaha Fan she seems to say that Semi Synthetic is the best that you can get! I know when using Semi it seems to be quieter with a lot less smell than with the Mineral and have seen a big increase in MPG. Now - 2008 Freelander 2 HSE

How soon do you notice a difference when putitng it in the tank. I.e how many tank fills before things get smoother quieter and for MPGier?? Current: D3 TDV6 S; GGAT's, DIY 7inch Tablet mount, DIY Reversing Camera, Stage 1 remap, EGR delete
