Could be an airlock in the system, try sqeezing the pipes with the engine running to get the air out or a cylinder head gasket, to test fill the water up to the brim with the engine running, then with the filler cap off look for air bubbles coming out of the water, if there are bubbles its one of the cylinder head gaskets, remember to remove some water after to the correct level. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I presume you know its overheating because its actually boiling over? Where is the coolant dripping from? A bit more info needed really

Hi guys
Thanks for your replys
I will try the water test.
Just one more question I've had it pressure tested and a snif test and both came back good!
Do you think it could still be the gasket? Also there's no smoke coming out the back and when she is not over heating she drives ok.
What do you think!!!!!!!!
Than again for speedie replys

Have you vented the system correctly while filling?
i.e. at the expansion bottle return pipe spigot, and the vent pipe that is at the front of the engine under the plastic cover....

I don't know if this is the LR way but this is how I did it. On the left hand side of the expansion tank is a small pipe, right next to it is a black (bleed) screw with a cross in top, undo it. Then remove the black plastic cover from the top of the engine, at the front top you should see another one of those black (bleed) screws, but this one is on the end of a rubber pipe. Remove this one, then fill the system etc.
Just another tip, the coolant level is easier to check by removing the headlight and looking through from that side

I replaced the water pump to try and fix the problem, there was some pink residue on it and thought that was the leek! Had the v fan replaced as well as a new cap on the header tank.

is there any coolant in the sump or oil in the coolant?
have you had the radiator pressure tested..?

if you can feel the hose out from thermostat if its just warm compared to the other hoses it may not be opening
air lock seems likely but if not..
remove thermostat then try again. this can increase the flow and reduce air pockets also you can also check it while its out.
also consider
blocked radiator( unlikely but not impos)
kinked hose ( possible)
viscous fan duff(maybe)
dodgy radiator cap( low pressure in system .should be around 15psi again squeeze a hose)
other engine issues you seem to have eliminated
have fun It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.
